Program Information
Kindergartens have the opportunity to provide their families with a full year of Kindy Songs excitement!
There are a range of educational and developmental benefits in this Full Year Program!
- Speech and language development can be audibly monitored term by term
- Confidence grows from the familiarity of the program; seeing the same equipment, gaining experience in the task.
- Hearing the outcomes of the previous sessions get kids excited about the next one! By the second session their willingness to focus and try new vocal techniques is recognised.
I have developed the Kindy Songs program to incorporate 4 sessions throughout the year to get the children used to the equipment, the headphones, the appearance of the microphone etc – they work on their confidence with performing, and by the 4th session (Graduation/ End of Year Celebration), they can have the opportunity to show off their skills.
Term 1 song is the Kindness song they record is the ice breaker. The kids learn what is expected of them, and follow along to instructions through the headphones as well as professional vocal coaching.
Term 2 song is about Manners! This is a little more technical. We talk about how the sound travels through the microphone and ends up in a computer, all while learning about please, thank you, you’re welcome…
Term 3 song is about being Stronger Together. This session works on creating a story (lyrics). It is less about me asking them to sing certain words, and more about them thinking up their own words to sing!
Term 4 is the Graduation/ End of Year Celebration Song. This track allows the children to show their confidence and is a wonderful keep-sake of their time in kindergarten as they prepare for Prep! Some children will remain in Kindergarten for another year, so you have the option to not use the word “Graduate” and just keep it a “Celebrate” – a celebration of all the things they learned this year.
This program is an amazing keep-sake of the year spent at their Early Learning Establishment!
You receive an Mp3 of each song on a dedicated password protected page to share at your leisure, and the songs are available to stream on Youtube Music, Apple Music, Spotify, and Amazon Music within 4 weeks of the recording session.
Additional songs are constantly being created, so if you’re after more than 4 in the year, you have a choice! Simply let me know and I will provide you with the updated list of songs.
